Microsoft Internal Website Services - Designing digital eperiences for internal communications

Main Project Image

Delivering web and mobile digital experience solutions for global organizations with 10,000+ employees

The majority of the work on these projects was UX-focused, as I was designing within the constraints of the Microsoft SharePoint environment. This meant that visual design was highly limited by the system’s capabilities. The work was also shaped by the strict branding guidelines provided by each company, which supplied the assets and imagery for the final designs. Ideally, the UI could have been further refined, but given the corporate tone and visual language of each client, this wasn’t fully possible. In spite of UI limitations, these projects were a great opportunity to strengthen my skills in stakeholder management, visual storytelling, and client collaboration. Each enterprise solution was typically delivered within about three months, from discovery to launch, including guiding content owners through practical product management aspects to ensure timely, high-quality delivery. Ultimately, these solutions enabled employees to work more efficiently by improving self-service and communication across hundreds — sometimes thousands — of colleagues.

Ensuring seamless user journeys across client platforms

I designed and delivered internal communication websites tailored to each client, focusing on usability and consistency across devices and Microsoft platforms. The projects extended beyond the website to creating a connected experience and integrating content across Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and Viva Connections. This approach improved accessibility, streamlined communication, and made it easier for employees to find and use the resources they need from anywhere.
